Social Networking Sites

Twitter is mainly used to follow celebrities or some information you like. Twitter's functionality is relatively simple it is not diversification. Use is relatively single, each article can not exceed 280 words. This feature greatly limits the user's experience. Facebook is different. It has more features like live streaming, more interesting emoticons, and even has marketplace you can trade show price to all the people. Facebook is more like a community of your own where you can make friends, get a job, play some game. When you upload a post of your own it can be a signed article or it can be a word or a letter. I'd also like to talk about Instagram, which lets you share videos, photos, or live updates of small videos. You can also post comments on Instagram and chat with friends to enhance the customer experience. In a sense, the function of Instagram is also very single, which can only share pictures and videos. But many celebrities and major brands use Instagram as a platform to promote themselves. Therefore, Instagram attracts more young people to like it. There's another social media software that you might not know and it's called WeChat. It's a Chinese app in a similar form as Facebook. Can chat, can share pictures and articles, have a lot of interesting emoticons. Many people also use the software for online transactions, which can be tied to a bank account for remittances. Almost everyone in China has WeChat. Even if you buy bottle water in a deli store, you can pay with the wallet in WeChat. You can even use the app to buy airline tickets, take taxis and pay bills online. It combines apple pay with Facebook and adds some companies related to it like Uber and Amazon to work with them.

The app works with Google maps to allow people to socialize in a virtual world when they don't want to go out or when they facing a situation like now. Every street and every store will including in this fake world , in this virtual world where you can really walk down the street with your friends, or go shopping; Everything consumed in the virtual world will shipping to home. This can greatly meet the shopping needs of many people, can also experience the feeling of on-site shopping, people won't be bored because can't go out.

Creativity and New Media

As I mentioned in the beginning of this class, I like traveling to different places. When I want to make an imaginative and creative video, the first idea I have is to make a clip of my traveling video. Therefore, I put together video of my 2019 trip to Montreal, Cancun, and Niagara Falls. I put three videos together so when you watch it , you can watch three videos in the same window at the same time. I used VideoCollege this application on my phone to make this video. Blog VS Wiki

Blogs are primarily for personal or individual use. Blogs provide a platform for one user. Users can use blogs to spread their ideas, share their lives and write articles. All internal use in a blog is based on the ideas of the author alone. A personal presentation platform where one person has permission to write articles, change text, and upload photos and videos. Anything the author thinks is interesting can be demonstrated through blogs, which are also limited the idea of the content. Wiki is different it provides a platform for a group of users. Every user on a wiki is a partner. They can write their own parts, modify others' parts, upload photos and update data. This is not the work of an individual, it is the work of a team. Wiki is also a platform for information exchange. Everyone can get the information they need and have the right to change or update the wrong information.             In today's I...
